The 12th Festival of Iranian Folk Music came to finish

The beginning of the program was accompanied by music performances which accompanied by pioneers of music from across Iran.
Mohammad Reza Alizadeh (Director of Kerman Guidance Office) mentioned at the ceremony: We had the opportunity to host beloved artists from all over Iran from north to south and east to west for 4 days. Now, the most extensive art event of the country in the field of Iranian folk music reached its final stop.
He continued: The warm presence of music students and artists from the countries of Turkey, Afghanistan and Iraq set the stage for us to hold a better festival with them in the coming years.The presence of 20 reporters and photographers from overseas television channels has made it possible to reflect on the events of folk music festivals across Iran and the world.
Also, Mohammad Jan Bozorgian (Kohgiluyeh& Boyer Ahmad), AlirezaShahbazi (Fars), KhalooGhanbarRastgoo (Hormozgan), Rahim Khezri (West Azerbaijan), HadiGharekhani (North Khorasan), KhosroKargar (North Khorasan), Abdullah Amini (KhorasanRazavi), Abdul AhadDorpour (Torbat Jam), Khodadadsheklzehi (Sistan and Baluchistan) and AshighGhodratollahMirza pour(East Azerbaijan) were honored in this section.
Zahra Musa Poor (Kerman Governor of Social Affairs) was the next speaker at the closing ceremony on behalf of Kerman Governor.
She said: “In this great event, artists from more than 20 provinces are our guests; as if we are seeing Iran in Kerman.”Here,all of us are together with the differences and beauties, and this blessed event has given us in the Prophet Muhammad’s birth.
During the performance of these two bands, the presenter of the ceremony announced; According to a memorandum of understanding signed between the directors of Ataturk University of Turkey and the Iranian Music Enthusiast, the two musical ensembles will continue their musical collaborations.
Ahmad Sadri, the secretary of the 12thIranianFolk Music Festival,while appreciating the event’s organizers, saidin the closing part of the program: “Cultural tourism is an important issue to consider and I think the Folk Music Festival has the potential to have constant attention and see more and more prosperous Iranian music.
